A Flock of Websites
So a few months ago I decided to try the new upcoming browser called Flock. It’s a social browser: has all of the great add ons to help you organize your social life…online. Take all of your Flickrs, Facebooks and Live Journals – and use them effectively right in your browser – not on their sites. Check your friends’ statuses and view your friends’ latest photos.
I had no objection to such a wonderful thing – since I’m a total freak for social bookmarking and organizing sites. Until ofcourse, dearest Flock started lagging and not really…functioning on certain websites. I KNEW there had to be some sort of perk I missed. So gradually I let go of it. Let me know if it truly works out for you.
The thing is, Flock had a great bookmarking option where it not only saves sites to your bookmarking folders, but also to social bookmarking sites at the same time, like ma.gnolia. I’ve been saving all of these websites in an unorganized manner and i’d like to bring them back into my Firefox bookmarks folder. So I plan to, at least for the first couple of entries, to write and critique some of these fun sites.
Where do i keep finding these great sites? Well, there are a few RSS feed related sites that I’m dying to get out into the open. You’ll see. Some of these might influence your online world.
